Hands-on verdict
Gates of Olympus Super Scatter review
Pragmatic Play's most ambitious Gates of Olympus sequel keeps the engine that made the 2021 original a phenomenon and bolts a 50,000× ceiling on top. The real question isn't whether it's exciting — it's whether the top-heavy payouts suit how you like to play.
What our testing showed
Across a 200-spin sample we finished near 94% of the starting balance without hitting a feature — a textbook illustration of the high-volatility curve. Roughly a third of spins paid something, but only a handful cleared 1×. The path to profit runs almost entirely through the bonus and the Super Scatter, so the volatility profile matters more here than the headline RTP.
Where the upgrade earns its name
When the feature lands, the running multiplier and Super Scatter prizes change the character of the game completely. The 50,000× cap is ten times the original's 5,000× and gives this release real teeth — even if reaching it is, realistically, a lottery-odds event.
Strengths

- Free demo makes it easy to learn before risking money
Trade-offs
- Bonus triggers only ~1 in 438 spins
- Long dry stretches between features
- Mechanically a refined reskin, not a reinvention
- Bonus Buy can encourage overspending
